The worst thing you can do in a debrief is say that everything was perfect. That means that you are either blind to your own mistakes or not transparent and afraid to share them.

Don’t be afraid to ask a question that may sound stupid because 99% of the time everyone else is thinking of the same question and is too embarrassed to ask it.

Too much choice can be overwhelming. People would rather buy nothing than choose the wrong option. They'll often walk away if they can't easily figure out the right product to buy or if they're forced to make projections about future costs.

The price you set for a product also influences its perceived value. That’s why people assume that a $50 bottle of wine is better than a $10 one.

When somebody says Agile, push for Kanban, not Scrum.

When somebody says that “we do Agile” to me, that means that there is a team meeting every two weeks. That’s all that Agile means to me.

Some will get into the difference between two “flavors” of #Agile, #Scrum and #Kanban. As a rule of thumb, Scrum means that “you have to get certain things done with those two weeks.”, Kanban means “do what you can do in two weeks.”
If it’s not explicit to you whether the team follows Scrum or Kanban, you should have that conversation explicitly – and you should push for Kanban.
Given the difficulty of estimation, Scrum can easily mean that you’ll get pressured to work extra hours to complete something within that arbitrary two-week horizon.

Stress and worry are not the same thing.

Stress is the tension that results from a force being applied to a norm.

Worry is pointless fretting about an undesirable future state.

Stress can exist in a person, a system, or a physical object.

Worry, on the other hand, only exists in the human mind.

A bridge or a crowbar or a software application can all endure stress. But none of them are worried about anything.

You can relieve stress by making decisions and taking actions.

・This crisis will change globalisation
・Over the years globalisation brought many positives but also negatives. Now it is approaching the end of its cycle because it started weakening democracy.
・Need to refocus on the human aspect, economy no longer has primacy; we are interdependent.
・Education, health, climate, and biodiversity has to force powers to cooperate.
・We are living something unthinkable 6 months ago. It is cognitive dissonance to believe we can get out of it with the same habits.

New habits are already being
put to the test across the fashion
industry, from an 84% rise
in remote working to a 79%
uptick in video conferencing and
a 58% increase in flexible

The crisis will shake out the weak, embolden the strong
and accelerate the decline of companies that were already
struggling before the pandemic, leading to massive waves
of consolidation, M&A activity and insolvencies. To secure
their future, companies must adapt to the new market
environment by evaluating divestment and acquisition
opportunities to strengthen their core and capture
whitespaces that emerge from the reshuffle.

As the crisis also pushes 13
percent of European consumers
to browse online e-tailers for the
first time, brands should take
the opportunity to become not
just more digitally adept, but to
become digital frontrunners.

Social distancing has highlighted the importance
of digital channels more than ever and lockdowns
have elevated digital as an urgent priority across the
entire value chain but, unless companies scale up and
strengthen their digital capabilities in the recovery
phase of the crisis, they will suffer in the longer term.
Consumers will continue to demand more in this space

Don’t let innovation stop,

even reinvent your own brand.

#COVID19 Is A Before-And-After Moment In #DigitalTransformation
see more

#DigitalTransformation provides unparalleled opportunities to offer personalized service to customers. Leverage digital solutions to understand customers and provide recommendations and experiences that are unique to them.

#DigitalTransformation requires a change in thinking about how an organization delivers its products and services, and even the products and services themselves. Successful companies push past what’s always been done to find the most efficient and innovative solutions.

When focusing on digital solutions for customers, companies also need to consider their internal customers—employees. Getting employee feedback and providing consumer-grade technology solutions empowers employees to provide an amazing experience.

All data systems need to work together and be integrated into the company’s internal processes. A streamlined data strategy is required for a successful #DigitalTransformation.

#DigitalTransformation impacts the entire organization, not just one department.
Everyone’s voice needs to be heard.

A successful digital transformation starts from the top with leaders who drive employees towards the vision. Every executive and leader must play a role in championing digital change and uniting the digital transformation with the company’s larger, long-term goals.

Companies need to break down internal silos to create a cohesive organization that embraces change. That means getting executives and leaders on board with the new digital vision.
